Voting: not just for Canadians

Thanks to everyone who voted in the first round of the Jewish & Israeli Blog Awards! With your support, Mah Rabu has advanced to the finals in all three categories for which it was nominated: Best Jewish Religion Blog, Best Post, and Best New Blog 2005. You can vote once every three days, from now until February 2. For those of you just joining us, here are some Mah Rabu highlights from 2005.

  1. Thankfully, because I am Canadian, I voted in both :-)

But, it's not like you actually needed to be Canadian or anything to vote in our federal election. The rules are so lax and the workers are so poorly trained that just about anybody, even Americans, who wants to could have voted in our election.

  2. Just wanted to let you know that I found you through the awards and I like your stuff - I'm adding you to my blogroll.. (It's always a bit creepy when someone adds you without telling you, at least in my eyes.)

  3. i'm voting for you from every IP I have access to!
