Kol Zimrah has been blogged...
in Hungarian! Can anyone translate it? I think I can get the general gist of "ortodoxok, konzervatív és reform zsidók, környezetvédő hippik, bloggerek, upper west side yuppiek, zsidó hipsterek, Pardes-expatrióták", but I'm having trouble with the rest.
I used an online translation site which gave me a garbled but somewhat readable translation.
ReplyDeleteRandom: in that blog's header, I know the person belong to the "kosher" neck tattoo. Zir (non-Jewish) partner has a matching "treyf" tattoo.
Orthodox, Conservative and Reform Jews, considered hippies, bloggers, Upper West Side Yuppies, Hipster Jews, Pardes-expatriots.
ReplyDeleteThat's really funny.
If only i spoke Magyar, too. I «heart» the letters Ő and Ű.
I have 2 lj friends who are hungarian. I'll point them to your post.
ReplyDeleteShalom aleikum,
