Happy Chanukah!
Over half of all Chanukah candles are used on the last three nights of the holiday.
"over half...are used..." This assumes that Jews light consistently every night. In my house growing up, we were far more likely to forget the last couple of nights than the first, when the newness of the holiday made us unlikely to miss. So I wonder if in fact the last 2 or 3 nights are widely missed, such that your claim is off...
